About Me
Ash Anders
I’m Ash Anders, a romance author who crafts tales of insta-love featuring alien and supernatural beings. My stories weave together sensuality, intimacy, and the fantastical, transporting you to worlds where the extraordinary often happens.
Writing is my way of exploring the depths of human (and non-human) connections. I find inspiration in the unexpected and the unknown, always pushing the boundaries of traditional romance to deliver something unique and captivating.

More About me
I share my home with two remarkable pets: a sphynx cat named Luna and a macaw named Zephyr. Luna’s sleek, otherworldly appearance and Zephyr’s vibrant colors often make them the perfect muses for my characters. They are my constant companions, offering both comfort and inspiration as I weave my stories.
Traveling has always been a significant part of my life. From the bustling streets of Tokyo to the serene landscapes of Iceland, each place I visit enriches my perspective and fills my mind with new story ideas. One memorable trip took me to the Amazon rainforest, where the untamed beauty and vibrant life around me breathed new energy into my writing.
Beyond writing, I have a deep love for the culinary arts. I enjoy experimenting with exotic ingredients and recipes, much like how I experiment with my storylines and characters. My kitchen adventures often find their way into my books, adding an extra layer of flavor and authenticity to my tales.

FAQ
What inspired you to write about alien and supernatural romances?
The mystery and allure of the unknown have always fascinated me. Combining romance with these elements lets me explore love in the most extraordinary and unexpected ways.
Do you believe in the supernatural or aliens yourself?
Absolutely! I think there’s a vast universe out there, full of possibilities. The idea that love could transcend even our earthly boundaries is incredibly romantic.
What’s the most unusual place you’ve found inspiration for a story?
During a stormy night in a centuries-old castle in Scotland. The howling wind and eerie ambiance sparked a whole series of paranormal romance ideas.
Do you write from personal experience in your romantic scenes?
I’d say my personal experiences certainly influence my writing, but I also rely heavily on imagination and research to create the steamy, sensual scenes my readers love.
Have you ever based a character on someone you know in real life?
Yes, but I always mix traits from multiple people and add fictional elements. It’s more about capturing a feeling or essence than recreating a real person.
What’s your favorite part about writing intimate scenes?
I love exploring the emotional depth and connection between characters. The intimacy and vulnerability they share often become pivotal moments in their relationship.
Do you have a writing ritual or routine?
My day starts with a strong cup of coffee and some quiet time with my cat, Luna. I also light a scented candle to set the mood and dive into my fantasy worlds.
Have you ever written a scene that was too steamy for publication?
Oh, definitely! Some scenes are so intense that they need to be toned down. My editor helps strike the perfect balance between sensuality and storytelling.
What’s the weirdest fan question you’ve ever received?
A fan once asked if I’d ever been abducted by aliens myself! I laughed and replied that I’m just an avid dreamer with a wild imagination.
If you could have a romantic encounter with any of your characters, who would it be?
It’s hard to choose, but I’d say the charming and enigmatic alien prince from one of my shorts. He’s the perfect blend of mystery, strength, and tenderness.
How many pen names do you write under?
I’ve been writing for many years. Some of my old pen names have died down, and some as still going strong. All up, I’ve had 7 pen names. I find it’s best to have a different pen name for each particular genre.
